Nea Kallikrateia is the closest major beach resort to Thessaloniki Airport — just 35 kilometres away, approximately 30 minutes by car. The KTEL Chalkidikis bus connects the town to Thessaloniki multiple times daily. From here, all three peninsulas of Chalkidiki — Kassandra, Sithonia, and Athos — are within easy reach for day trips.
